Jobs for Nature update

Our Jobs for Nature team have been busy clearing a heap of exotic trees alongside the Upukerora River trail bridge. You might not even recognise the space with so many trees gone! Now the focus turns to planting hundreds of natives in the area. This will be brilliant for the area, and for the wildlife.

The multi-use trail from the lakefront to the bridge is all but complete. It just required some more surfa work and then it will be good to go for bikes, e-bikes, runners, walkers, prams – whatever you fancy!

Awesome progress, we are so proud to be part of the Jobs for Nature initiative ????????.
